19-year-old Cassidy Wolf of Orange County, CA, was just crowned Miss Teen USA. She is also one of more than a dozen women alleging they were blackmailed for nude photos by an anonymous hacker, who the FBI believes they have identified.

Wolf’s hacker accessed her webcam remotely, used it to take nude photos of her, and threatened to make the photos public, writes the LA Times. As with other “sextortion” cases, the hacker probably used public information to answer security questions for Wolf’s email or Skype accounts and change her passwords.

Although the case is ongoing and no details have been released, the FBI Los Angeles office spokeswoman Laura Eimiller has confirmed that a suspect has been identified, and that the alleged hacking and blackmailing activity “has been discontinued.” The investigation is several months old, and no charges have been filed against the suspect, Fox News reports.

Other well-known “sextortion” cases include Karen “Gary” Kazaryan, who was sentenced last month for targeting 350 women, and Christopher Chaney, whose victims included Mila Kunis, Christina Aguilera, and Scarlett Johansson.
