Cate Blanchett and Ralph Fiennes are to be honored in October at the New York Film Festival.

According to The Wrap, on Thursday it was announced by the Film Society of Lincoln Center that Cate Blanchett and Ralph Fiennes will be honored at the New York Film Festival for their past works.

Blanchett’s gala tribute is on October 2nd, while on October 9th a tribute will be held for Fiennes.

Both worked together back in 1997 in the film Oscar and Lucinda. The LA Times reports that Blanchett have won rave reviews for her movie Blue Jasmine, directed by Woody Allen. She is rumored to be a top contender to be nominated for an Oscar this year.

Fiennes new film, where he starred and directed, The Invisible Woman, will be screened during his gala night.

The New York Film Festival will run from September 27th to October 13th. Previous honorees for this tribute include Nicole Kidman, Pedro Almodovar, and David Cronenberg.Tickets for the public will be available on September 8th.
