Lady Killer Alert: Harry Styles busts out a few dance moves during Sunday's Teen Choice Awards.

During the ceremony, hosts Darren Criss of Glee and Lucy Hale of Pretty Little Liars came up to Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Ed Sheeran and urged them to get their twerk on for the audience.

Were the famous male singers up to the challenge?

Zayn politely declined to participate, while Ed just looked a bit uncomfortable and unwilling. Lucky for them, Harry Styles took one for the team and promptly stood up and, while Criss improv'd some beat boxing, began to shake what his momma gave him.

The crowd went wild! But alas, the pleasure that was Harry shaking his butt for the world to see was short lived, lasting no more than a mere four seconds (really, Styles? That's all you could give us? Four measly seconds?!).

The twerk may have been short, but it's been immortalized forever for fangirl Directioners everywhere to enjoy and swoon over. Will we ever get to see Harry getting down like that again? Most likely not, the singer promptly tweeted after the awards show: "Note to self. Don't 'twerk'."
