One Direction’s debut film, the documentary-style One Direction: This is Us, hits theaters this weekend, but apparently the boys already have their sights set on a sequel – for the small screen.

According to TVNZ, the mega-successful boy band wants to star in their own television program, but not a typical reality program.

“We want to do a TV prank show like that new one on BBC Three [Impractical Jokers],” Louis Tomlinson said, according to Entertainmentwise. “It was funny and full of practical jokes. We would like to do a show like that and prank celebrities.”

The boys of One Direction – Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan – recently took home a MTV moonman for their new hit “Best Song Ever,” for Song of the Summer, according to The Huffington Post.

The Huff Post also noted that they beat out contenders such as Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, and the clip for “Best Song Ever’ broke Vevo’s record for most-watched clip in a single day.

One Direction is currently finishing a world tour and working on press for their movie, so any talk of a possible TV show is likely, well, just talk.
