Jack White’s ex wife, Karen Elson, put a restraining order against him.
According to the Nashville City Paper the court papers White harassed Elson over email and text messages.
“The pattern of husband’s bullying wife into submission was a contributing factor in the demise of their marriage,” the report claims.
An Aug. 29 court date is scheduled to work out the parenting issues. White is banded from “any contact with wife whatsoever except as it relates to parenting time with the parties’ minor children.” He is only allowed to communicated with Elson via email.
Billboard reports White wanted his children, Scarlet and Henry Lee, from private school because they had a class with children of an artist who White says “ripped off” his music.
White and Elson were married for six years and announced their divorce in 2011.
“I’m not extending this anymore. And we’re not getting lawyers involved to rip me off,” White wrote in an email regarding the divorce.
