I confess. I am a workout junkie. From lifting weights to HIIT training or running, I am constantly trying to improve myself. I was recently introduced to a great new sports bra as well as their pocketed traditional bra designed by JoeyBra. Considering I spend most of my day in a sports bra, I could not wait to take it for a test run. In the past, I usually would double knot tie my house key along my shoe and carry my license in my hand while running. Talk about inconvenience. Upon trying on the JoeyBra, I was instantly impressed. The bra was comfortable and supportive in all the proper places. There are zippered pockets easily accessible on each side that are equipped with a waterproof liner. No need to worry about your sweat ruining anything you are storing inside. I headed out the door and put my key and license in one pocket and my iPod in the other. Having my iPod in the pocket enabled me to shorten the distance between the headphones and the player, eliminating the extra wire continually flopping around while running. I was able to enjoy my run without having to constantly look down to make sure my shoelace was still tied holding my key. I completed my run with ease and comfort. I didn’t feel my key or license in the pockets while running and my arms were swinging back and forth. Upon coming home, I took out my items from the pockets and they were completely dry thanks to the liners. A few days ago my Joey Bra came in extra handy when I went to the gym to lift weights, and I left my wedding rings on! This was a big deal. I didn’t want to hide them in the car in case someone saw me hiding them. Then, I remembered I was wearing my JoeyBra. I walked right into the locker room, unzipped a zipper and happily placed them inside. The JoeyBra is the perfect convenience for any active lifestyle woman.

I was so impressed with their sports bra that I couldn’t wait to try traditional bra on as well. The bra itself fit comfortably and was true to size. It was also beautiful and very feminine in their black lace. I’ve been told that you can fit your cellphone in the side pocket, however I have a bit of a large smartphone and had trouble fitting it in. That being said, I also am not too fond of keeping an electronic device so close to my body so I really was not looking at the pockets for this matter. I found the pockets to be perfect to store extra cash or a credit card or any other “in case of emergency” small items you will not need to access frequently. On my body, I found the pockets a little hard to access as they were too far back along the sides for me. I was also a little upset to find out that after 2 washes, one of the under-wire had come out. While I am not too supportive of their traditional bra, I wouldn’t completely rule out their line all together. I am in love with their sports bra and plan on purchasing a few more for my own wardrobe.
