Joy Behar said goodbye to her co-hosts on The View Friday after 16 years on the show. Behar didn’t hold anything back when saying goodbye to longtime friend and fellow journalist, Barbara Walters, and even let something off her chest by dropping the f-bomb.
According to The Wrap Walters took a moment to praise her co-host for 16 wonderful years saying, “I love you, Joy. And I loved every moment that we worked together. I thank you and we are really going to miss you."
Behar followed by thanking everyone who made her job possible, including her hair and make stylist, publicists, producers, guests and co-workers.
"I'd like to say thank you,” she began. “I salute you all and thank you for all the fun and lively conversations about everything and anything. I was born an only child, now I know firsthand what sibling rivalry is all about."
Behar followed praising Walters saying that her “life hasn’t been the same” since she began working with her noting that she is “a legend” and “a friend of mine.” She then cut the heart-felt mentions saying, "There's something that I've been meaning to say on your behalf for 16 years. F—k, Harry Reasoner. We get it, we get it."
The Wrap notes that Reasoner was Walters’ former co-host on ABC’s Evening News back in 1976 who dubbed Walters difficult to work with. Her comment sent Walters into a sea laughter.
Behar announced she was leaving the popular daytime show in March.
