Critics are accusing Justin Bieber of lip-syncing at his latest stop on his Believe tour, Wednesday, at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
Starpulse reports that the 19-year-old singer was slammed by Associated Press critic Mesfin Fekadu saying Bieber was "not in pop star form,” noting he was unable to keep up with his backup dancers.
Fekadu writes, “He seemed to be lip-syncing and his sluggish, lazy dancing didn't match the oomph of the beats... Bieber phoned in a good amount during his show; at some moments, he even appeared bored. He was clocking in - another day, another sold-out concert... When performing the hit Beauty and a Beat, he couldn't keep up with his background dancers.”
Continuing he writes,"He was lip-syncing again... During “She Don't Like the Lights,” Bieber barely moved to the track's futuristic beat (maybe it was the leather tights?)."
Starpulse notes that Asbury Park reporter Chris Jordon also found Bieber’s performance less than stellar, saying that Bieber left his audience with “little to believe in.”
Bieber’s actions in his personal life, which include peeing in restaurant bucket, swearing at President Bill Clinton, allegedly smoking marijuana, speeding and being accused of attacking a photographer, have left his fans with less than positive reviews as well.
