Katy Perry is gearing up to release a new single, but not without the help of her fans.
According to MTV, Perry will close out Saturday night’s MTV Video Music Awards from an undisclosed location in Brooklyn. Together with Pepsi, Perry has announced her plans to give fans any early listen into one of her tracks from her upcoming album, Prism, set for release October 22.
Fans can begin tweeting #KATYNOW to begin unlocking clues into getting two of the tracks. MTV notes that in addition to the song, Perry will release song lyrics and titles. The songs will debut on Pepsi.MTV.com. The titles have since been unlocked revealing song titles “Dark Horse” and “Walking on Air.”
The song lyrics are only 2% unlocked thus far.
Perry released the music video to her latest hit “Roar”. She has also been promoting her upcoming album via a gold semi tractor.
