The Lee Daniels movie starring Oprah Winfrey and Forest Whitaker may just end up beating the superhero movie ‘Kick-Ass 2’ this weekend at the box office.

Even though superhero movies almost always get the number one spot ‘The Butler’ might end up with the most viewers during the weekend according to, MTV News. ‘The Butler’ film is based on a White House butler by the name of Eugene Allen. The storyline is mostly about racial issues in United States history.

This movie by Daniels has a chance to put up good numbers this weekend because of the fact that it consists of racial issues in American history. Also, not to mention the all-star cast of Terrence Howard, John Cusack, Oprah Winfrey, and Forest Whitaker is sure to attract audiences according to, Entertainment Weekly.

Another aspect that ‘The Butler’ has going for it is that it’s based on a true story that is some people might find inspiring. ‘The Butler’ will be shown in more than 2,000 theaters this weekend according to, Entertainment Weekly.
