A new remix of a leftover Michael Jackson track surfaced on Friday featuring pop star Justin Bieber. The two singers join forces on "Slave for the Rhythm."

The Huffington Post reports that "Slave for the Rhythm" was originally a song Jackson recorded solo. It later ended up being shelved. Producer Tricky Stewart worked on this track in 2010 along with Bieber's big hit "Baby" so there lies some connection.

The 2010 version of "Slave for the Rhythm" is drastically updated on this electro-pop remix featuring Bieber. The two trade verses about dancing the night way. Bieber tries to serve up Jackson's attitude-packed vocals alongside the King of Pop on the pulsating number. There is even a little dubstep wobble included to make this collaboration seem as current as possible.

Idolator.com notes that Bieber hinted to this new version of "Slave for the Rhythm" following the song's leak. He wrote about Jackson's impact on Twitter.

"Excited for what is to come. MJ set the bar. Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how u treat the fans. Wish he was here…" Bieber posted.
