The MTV Video Music Awards are the topic of discussion today thanks to the performances from Lady Gaga, Daft Punk and Justin Timberlake’s performances...plus whatever on earth Miley Cyrus was doing. But there were actual awards handed out during the ceremony and the network certainly spread the moonmen around. Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were the only artists to take home more than one award. The “Mirrors” singer also received the Vanguard Award for his career.

Timberlake’s wins in the competitive categories came for the top prize - Video of the Year for “Mirrors”; Best Direction for “Suit & Tie”; and Best Editing for “Mirrors.” “Suit & Tie” was the first single from The 20/20 Experience and featured Jay Z. The video was directed by The Social Network’s David Fincher.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis picked up wins for Best Hip-Hop Video for “Can’t Hold Us” and Best Video With A Social Message for “Same Love.”

Bruno Mars’ two wins came for Best Male Video for “Locked Out Of Heaven” and Best Choreography for “Treasure.”
