The Weinstein Company and Netflix have reached an exclusive agreement, giving the streaming service exclusive access to TWC’s award-winning movies.

According to The Associated Press, starting in 2016, Netflix will be the only streaming service with access to the production company’s first-run films. The collection of films will include The King’s Speech and The Artist, the winners of the Best Picture Oscars for 2010 and 2011. The deal will also cover documentaries and foreign films distributed by TWC.

As THR explains, this deal also covers TWC’s Dimension films and RADiUS-TWC content.

“The deal that we've just completed with Netflix is probably the biggest deal in the history of The Weinstein Company and together, we are discussing ways to reinvent the pay TV experience so that the audience can get even more for their money,” Harvey Weinstein said.

The deal comes as Netflix continues to compete with HBO, Showtime and other pay-TV channels for first-run movies. Netflix has already secured a licensing deal with Disney, taking away the studio’s content from Starz. It also has a deal with Dreamworks Animation for exclusive content.

Netflix has also gained credibility in the industry with 14 Emmy nominations this year for its original shows House of Cards, Arrested Development and Hemlock Grove.
