Lovatics and Gleeks recently united over the exciting news that Demi Lovato is joining the cast of Glee in a multiple-episode arc, but now even more information has been revealed.
Fans already knew that Lovato would be playing a character named Dani, who becomes friends with Rachel (Lea Michele) and Santana (Naya Rivera) in NYC. But, apparently, she’s going to be a little more than just friends to at least one of the Glee girls.
According to Gossip Cop, Lovato will play Santana’s new love interest.
Rivera gave a definitive answer to the rumor at Video Music Awards.
“She’s playing my love interest so I’m very, very excited about that,” Rivera said.
According to MTV, Lovato’s Dani first appears in a Beatles tribute episode in October, and she will definitely be sharing the mic with Rivera.
“We get to sing a song together,” Rivera said. “It's gonna be good. I'm excited to work with her. We're bringing her to the dark side. She comes in in a Beatles episode, so [we're singing] a Beatles song. I'm excited."
