Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem welcomed their baby privately on July 22. Now, the Blow actress has revealed the name of their newborn daughter, just weeks following her birth.
Yahoo! reports that the couple named their daughter Luna Encinas Cruz. Spanish magazine Vanitatis first confirmed the news.
Luna is the Spanish translation for “Moon.”
News that the couple were expecting their second child first surfaced in February. They welcomed baby Luna Encinas in Madrid revealing little to no details surrounding her birth.
Luna joins 2-year-old big brother, Leo. According to Yahoo! The couple have not yet released a comment surrounding their newest addition.
The Vanilla Sky actress previously expressed her desire to keep her family life private in an interview with Vogue saying, “I want my son and my kids - if I have more - to grow up in a way that is as anonymous as possible.”
