Our new daughter will be here shortly, and the nursery is almost ready. We've got some furniture in it already, the walls are painted, and we put in a new carpet. The crib is still in the box, but that's a project I'll be taking on soon enough. We still have some decorating to do.

Decorating the nursery has been fun and challenging. We're trying to find the right mix of baby stuff and stuff that will last for the next couple of years as our daughter goes from infancy to toddlerhood and then beyond. For example, we just put in this lovely framed picture by Phyllis Harris, "Girl blowing dandelion purple".

This beautiful illustration captures all the joy and wonderment that is childhood as a little girl blows the seeds off a dandelion and into the wind. You can only wonder what she is wishing for!

You too can have a copy of this gorgeous print. Printed with a giclée fine art printing process on archival museum quality paper, "Girl blowing dandelion" makes a great gift for your next baby shower. You can choose to have the girl dressed in pink or in lavendar, and you can even personalize the print with the baby's name and birthdate. Also, you can request to personalize the print further by requesting a specific hair color.

Each print is created in the USA and is signed by the artist herself.
