Girls actress Jemima Kirke reportedly got kicked off of Jay Z’s “Picasso Baby” music video shoot for acting like a crazed fan. However, director Mark Romanek is speaking out to set the record straight.

New York Daily News first started the rumors claiming that Kirke, who acted as an extra playing a crazed fan, was jumping all over the rapper during the song to the point where she had to removed from the set.

“She kept jumping on his back like a little monkey,” a source tells the Daily News

However, Romanek took to Twitter Wednesday to defend Kirke. He writes, “I hope she doesn't mind me saying so, but these absurd rumors about Jemima Kirke's behavior at the PICASSO BABY shoot are utter bullshit.”

The nearly eleven minute video also stars familiar faces Marina Abramović, Judd Apatow,Fab Five Freddy, Cynthia Rowley, Wale, Michael K. Williams, Adam Driver, Dustin Yellin and actual Diana Widmaier Picasso.
