Dallas police arrested Erbie Bowser in connection to two shootings that left four people injured and four people dead.

The first shooting occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. in Dallas. Toya Smith and her daughter Tasmia Allen died. The shooter injured Toya’s son and Dasmin Mitchell, a friend of the family who was visiting at the time, at their residence on Long Canyon Trail.

Erbie Bowser is Toya’s estranged hushand, local CBS affiliate DFW reports.

Bowser then drove to DeSoto after the first shooting. He threw a bomb into a house on Galleria Drive and continued shooting. Zina Bowser and her daughter Neima Williams died.

Two children were injured and remain in critical condition.

"We thought it was coming from upstairs, because the kids are always upstairs making noise," neighbor Tommy Johnson told MSN News . "I went up and asked, 'Did y'all hear anything?' and one of my daughters said it came from outside. So I peeped out the front and that's when I saw a bunch of officers walking down the sidewalk and about 10 houses up."

Police were quickly alerted to the shooting because one of the children from DeSoto called 911. A family friend of the Dallas family also called 911 to report the shooting after finding the victims at their house.

Bowser has not been charged yet.
