Queen Latifah will try her hand at hosting a daytime talk show once again this fall when she kicks off The Queen Latifah Show. The singer/actress reveals that the show will give a positive feel to the daytime setting, but notes she will not be discussing her personal life.
Latifah, whose sexual orientation has been at the center of much speculation, admits that she doesn’t plan on bringing up her personal life on the show."I don't feel the need to discuss my private life on this show or any other show," Latifah, whose real name is Dana Owen, explained to The Hollywood Reporter. "There's the part of my life that the public and I share together. And there's the part that's mine to keep for myself. And that's mine. For me."
Latifah has the support of Sony Television behind her. "It's her choice what she chooses to talk about,” Holly Jacobs, executive vp syndication and reality programming at Sony Pictures Television explains.
According to Omg! Yahoo, Latifah plans to ask President Barack Obama, Jay Z, Pitbull, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith to appear on her show.
