It looks as if Ridley Scott is bringing serious star power to his Biblical epic, Exodus.

According to Cinemablend, the Alien director has snagged actors such as Aaron Paul, Signourey Weaver, John Turturro and Ben Kingsley for the film.

Exodus is a retelling of the Biblical story of Moses and his freeing of Jewish slaves and subsequent trek to the Promised Land, Israel, according to Cinemablend.

Christian Bale is already on board as Moses, and The Great Gatsby’s Joel Edgerton is set to play the evil pharaoh Ramses.

Variety was the first to announce that Paul was in talks to play a Hebrew slave named Joshua, who will work alongside Bale’s Moses. According to Collider, Weaver will play Tuya, Ramses’ mother, while Turturro is set to play his father. Kinglsey is set to play an as-of-yet unnamed “scholar.”

The Exodus script was penned by Steven Zailian, who also wrote the script for 2011’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

According to Collider, production on Exodus is set to begin next month in locations such as England, Spain and Morocco.
