“Blurred Lines” has become the song of the summers and almost impossible to get away from. It has risen on the charts and the video stirred up controversy.
Now, new father Jimmy Fallon, and the Roots teamed up with Robin Thicke to perform an acoustic version of “Blurred Lines.”
Fallon, the Roots and Thicke played the song on child instruments including a kazoo, xylophone, recorder, maracas, ukulele, and cowbell changing the song to a G-rated version MTV reports.
The Roots’ Black Thought lend his voice for an original verse USA Today reports.
“Blurred Lines” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for eight weeks and has shot Thicke’s career forward. The track was influenced by Marvin Gaye’s “Got to Give It Up,” showing that Thicke’s style even with producer Pharrell and guest T.I.
