New details are surfacing about the tragic suicide of former Bachelor and Bachelor Pad star, Gia Allemand, who took her own life by hanging earlier this month.

Allemand, who was 29 at the time of her death, was on the phone with her mother when she hanged herself using a vacuum cleaner chord. Her mother tried, to no avail, to talk to her for 10 minutes and realized she had gone through with the suicide. The cord was tied to a spiral staircase and one end, and a handrail on the second floor of the home she shared with boyfriend Ryan Anderson.

According to TMZ, Allemand had confronted her NBA star boyfriend that same day about cheating on her and he, in return, told her "I don't love you anymore." She was reportedly planning on moving out in September after their relationship had deteriorated. She left a suicide note on her dining room table, indicating she wanted everything she owned to go to her mother.

TMZ released the 911 call that Anderson placed when coming home to finding her body after hanging herself. He can be heard telling someone “don’t stop” giving her CPR, but it was too late, she had been without oxygen for over a half hour.

NY Daily News reports Allemand’s wake is scheduled for Wednesday and her funeral will be held Thursday in her native New York. Her father told the Daily News, “She had a hard time with rejection, with other boyfriends in the past. What if I reached out? Maybe I could have changed the outcome. That’s what’s tearing me apart.”
