This fall you can expect a ton of magical shows to hit television, all of which center on witches.
The said shows include the CW’s The Originals, FX’s American Horror Story: Coven and Lifetime’s Witches of East End. E! Network released the first glimpse of Witches of East End, a show that features Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Rachel Boston and Julia Ormond. The show centers on Ormond’s character, Joanna Beauchamp and how her two daughters, shy Ingrid (Boston) and wild-child Freya (Dewan-Tatum) aren’t aware that they’re the family’s next generation of witches. The promo for the show is short and sexy, promising viewers an interesting season, which will commence on October 6th.
The CW’s The Originals will be all about embracing the supernatural life rather than struggling with it, reported Deadline last month. The Originals is a spinoff series from The Vampire Diaries and will feature some of the fan favorite’s such as Joseph Morgan, Claire Holt, Daniel Gillies and rising star Phoebe Tonkin. The pilot for the spinoff will premiere on October 15th.
Finally, American Horror Story: Coven will air on October 9th, but teaser videos have already been released like the one on the Inside TV website that was posted on August 15th. Fans of the original season will be thrilled to know that Taissa Farmiga, Lilly Rabe, Jessica Lange and Evan Peters will all be returning to the show in addition to new actors such as Emma Roberts and Kathy Bates.
