Police in Spokane, Washington have arrested 16-year-old Demetrius Glenn, one of two suspects in the beating death of suspect in the beating death of WWII veteran Delbert "Shorty" Belton.

Glenn will be tried as an adult for first degree robbery and first degree murder. At this point, there appears to be some confusion as to how the suspect’s name is spelled. The Spokane County Court is trying to determine how to spell Glenn’s name properly so they can correct court documents.
Glenn has prior arrests for assault, malicious mischief, and driving without a license.

Local news station KHQ reports that Glenn will have his first court appearance on Monday, August 26.

Police are still looking for Kenan Adams-Kinard, the second suspect in the case. He also has an arrest record in juvenile court. Local news station KXLY has posted the suspect’s photo here .

The story went viral after actor James Woods asked fellow Twitter users to retweet his request for justice for Belton.

"We would encourage Mr. Adams-Kinard to surrender immediately," Spokane Police Chief Frank Straub Jr. told CNN .
