2014 will be a frightening year with Paramount's release of two Paranormal Activity movies.
ComingSoon.Net reported that January and October of 2014 will see the release of two more installments of the horror franchise. The first of the new installments, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, will be a spin-off premiering in theaters January 3, 2013. According to Examiner.Com The Marked Ones will feature a Latino cast and will investigate Catholic themes into the supernatural. Christopher Landon who wrote for all the Paranormal Activity sequels thus far will write and direct.
Paranormal Activity 5 which was previously reported to be in theaters January 2013 is now being moved to October 25, 2014. MovieWeb.com reports that no storyline, cast, or filmmaker has been confirmed for the sequel. Jason Blum and Oren Peli will return as producers.
The Paranormal Activity franchise has made over $710 million worldwide.
