Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Raymond has filed documents asking for emergency custody of her children following Monday evening’s scary account where their 5-year-old son nearly drowned.

According to TMZ, Tameka filed the documents in Fulton County, Georgia on the grounds that Usher was creating an unsafe environment for their two children. Tameka, who has limited custody, claims that Usher leaves much of his parental responsibilities on the maid and his aunt, who Tameka does not have a healthy relationship with.

The court documents, obtained by E! News state that "the children are at risk while in the care of third-party caregivers...while (Usher) travels around the world for his work-related activities."

The aunt attempted to help Usher Raymond V when his arm got stuck in a pool drain. The “Without U” singer was not at home at the time of the accident.
Little Usher was saved by two men working in the house. The workers came to the aunt’s aide after she screamed frantically for help.

Thankfully, Tameka has informed that Usher V is recovering. "My son is doing much better. Talking & asking for food. Thank you for ur well wishes & prayers," she tweeted Wednesday.

An emergency hearing is set for Friday.
