It's finally arrived! Fans of the underworld and all dark fantasy, get excited: the first teaser trailer for the new vampire flick 'Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters" dropped today, and it already has people everywhere going crazy with excitement.
Fans of the 2007 best selling novel of the same title have been following the production and casting of the film for ages and are of course psyched to get a first taste of the upcoming cinematic thrill ride. Speaking on behalf of those of us who never read the novel, I have got to admit that's one pretty bad ass trailer. The clip begins with an unseen narrator, saying how her school can get "a little insane." What first seems like typical high school drama quickly elevates to different groups of teens showing their fangs and hissing, some sultry and sensual vampire on vampire moments, and - just when you thought it was a teen vampire romance drama - a kidnapping! Fighting sequence! Blood!
There's a little bit of everything in this teaser, and the best part of it all is that after watching it, I still have absolutely no indication of what the plot is or where the story is going. And now I'm left craving some more vampire action... just when I thought that phase was over! Who are we kidding? It's never over.
The film, starring 'Beautiful Creatures' Zoey Deutch, is set to premiere February 14th 2014, according to IMDB. Just a casual sultry vampire adventure flick to spice up Valentine's Day, am I right?
