The Simpsons town of Springfield has been brought to life at a Universal theme park, which was just completed.
The park was build around a Simpsons themed ride that opened in 2008, and now includes a replica of the town of Springfield complete with Moe’s Tavern, a Kwik-E-Mart, and Krustyland carnival, according to Dawn.com.
The shops will include Simpsons themed food, like burgers and doughnuts. Themed beverages include beer as well as a non-alcoholic “Flaming Moe,” a citrus vanilla flavored drink that bubbles and smokes.
As well as snack shacks, the park included the iconic Simpsons family couch, which visitors can take pictures on, and rides like the “Twirl ‘n’ Hurl,” which is based on the aliens Kang and Kodos. The ride spins around and “sends your lunch into orbit,” according to to UniversalOrlando.com.
The Universal website also lists the full range of Springfield eateries, which include Krusty Burger, The Flying Dutchman, Cleatus’ Chicken Shack, Luigi’s Pizza, Lard Lad Donuts, Lisa’s Teahouse of Horror, Bumblebee Man’s Taco Truck, Duff Brewery, and Moe’s Tavern.
It looks like Universal has something for everyone at in its new Simpsons area!
