Ashton Kutcher's company is being sued.

Actor/producer Ashton Kutcher's company, Katalyst Media, is being sued over a reality show centered around the Department of Motor Vehicles.

After her daughter's experience at the DMV, Big Cheese Media's Hedda Muskat came up with the idea of creating a reality show about DMV employees and patrons in varying situations.

According to The Wrap, Muskat was told by the Creative Arts Agency, CAA, to bring her idea to Katalyst for co-production. Muscat claims she was orally promised that she would have control over the show. However, she says that Katalyst started excluding her from meetings, downplayed her role, and brought in "inexperienced" employees.

The DMV later terminated consent.

Deadline reports that Muskat is seeking over $2 million in damages, as well as other costs from the agency.

"Katalyst's reckless conduct and CAA's failure to properly represent or protect Plaintiff has had the ultimate consequence of obliterating Plaintiff's career in the entertainment industry and her reputation as a producer," the lawsuit claims.

Katalyst sued the state agency for $1.4 million last August after the DMV dropped out of the series. The parties settled the case early this year in the amount of $450,000. Muskat claims that some of that money is hers.

Muskat is a producer of America's Got Talent and A Current Affair.
