Carrie Underwood had a bit of an on-stage slip-up in Texas on Thursday night, but like the professional she is, she didn’t miss a beat.

The “Before He Cheats” singer, 30, tripped and fell on stage in Corpus Christi and now has to wear a walking brace.

The American Idol winner took to Twitter to inform her fans on her condition:

She then wrote:

Underwood then showed off her new “footwear”:

What happened was the singer was taking some steps back when her thin stiletto heel got stuck on her long shirt. She then became out of control of where she would take her next step due to being stuck and fell right on the floor.

One of her fans posted the incident on Instagram:

Underwood, who is now singing the new Sunday Night Football theme song, will perform on Friday night at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. On Sunday, she will debut "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" when the New York Giants play the Dallas Cowboys.

She teased Brad Paisley and tweeted to him, “I learn from the best!” and posted a YouTube video of him falling. He answered “At least I wasn't drunk. :)” but she denied it, saying “You know I don't drink on stage! I'm uncoordinated enough as it is!”
