The One Direction fan wanted the band to follow her on Twitter and threatened to kill her dog if they didn't.

When the message naturally did not make it to the British band who have millions of followers, the girl then allegedly killed her dog, New York Daily News reports.

The girl, tweeting from @illumivato, said, "Follow me or I'll break my dog's neck." The tweet was followed by a photo of her holding her Chihuahua by the neck against the ground.

The clearly disturbed girl posted the message back on Aug. 29, according to Fox News.

She later posted a picture holding her dog, which may or may not be dead, with the message, "I love you. Follow me. My dog has just died."

NY Daily News notes the picture shows her crying and was directed specifically towards band member Liam Payne.

Fans of the band have started a Change.org petition to get Twitter to ban her account.

Mya Fhya, who started the petition wrote, " She has pictures of animals in blenders, a dog with guns up to its head, a picture of her strangling (what looks to be her mom) [...] basically implying that if she does not get more followers she will kill all of these beings,"

The Twitter account has been suspended and people aren't sure if it's simply a hoax or if the girl was really that desperate for attention from the band.
