Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs tops the Forbes Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Artists list.

The rapper was never happy with the Forbes lists in the past, and spoke about his disapproval in a song.

However, now he is singing another tune.

"You started learning how to count right, I see," Diddy tells Forbes earlier this year. "Thank God."

Diddy made over $50 million this past 12 months. He has his Bad Boy record label, Sean John clothing line, and Blue Flame agency to thank. However, it was his agreement with Diageo's Ciroc Vodka that brought in the most of his earnings.

His next money makeing move will be the new cable channel Revolt, which debuts this fall through Time Warner and Comcast.

Jay Z came in at No. 2, making $43 million due to his agreement with D’Ussé Cognac and Armand de Brignac Champagne, as well as his live shows, Roc Nation label, and his Platinum selling album.

Dr. Dre, who topped the list last year, came in at No. 3, making $40 million. Dre lost a lot of his earnings after selling part of Beats By Dre in 2001, but is continuing to make money off of the headphones and is planning to start a streaming music service.

Nicki Minaj also makes the list at No. 4, making her not only the highest paid female hip-hop artist, but the only female in the top 20.

"People think that I'm the 'hated female rapper,'" Minaj told Perez Hilton. "But a lot of the girls have shown me a lot of love, and behind the scenes have said, 'Congratulations, keep up the good work.' Can't we all just get along?"

Here are the top 10 artists from the list along with their earnings.
