Lloyd Christmas and Harry are finally returning to the big screen. The long awaited sequel to the classic comedy “Dumb and Dumber” is beginning production this month. And “long-awaited” is no joke- it’s been almost 20 years since the original movie was released in 1994.

Though it has been in question for a while whether or not the sequel is happening, due to complications with lawsuits and being dropped by Warner Brothers, stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels have both confirmed that it is on.

Jeff Daniels spoke about the sequel in a recent interview on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. When Jimmy showed a picture of Harry and Lloyd and asked if they would be returning, Daniels gave a thumbs up to everyone, especially Jimmy Fallon’s delight. “It will be so great to be with Jim Carrey again. He is just one of the best we got” Daniels told Fallon.

Jim Carrey surprised his twitter followers by posting a picture today of Lloyd’s infamous chipped tooth.

The film is again directed by the Farrelly Brothers, and they are giving fans a change to get involved, according to Access Atlanta, the directing duo is asking fans to tweet embarrassing yearbook photos to be featured in the movie.
