Sunday’s broadcast of the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards will likely bring rejoice for some and tears for others. Viewers will cheer when their favorites win, and talk about unfairness when they lose. Here are my thoughts and predictions about who will win in the drama categories on Sunday’s show.

Outstanding Drama Series

The Nominees: Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Homeland, House of Cards, Mad Men

Past Winners: Homeland (2012), Mad Men (2010-2011)

Prediction: Breaking Bad will probably take home this award in its final season, but House of Cards might edge them out from the novelty of them being a Netflix original series.

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series

The Nominees: Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey), Damian Lewis (Homeland), Kevin Spacey (House of Cards), Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Jeff Daniels (The Newsroom)

Past Winners: Damian Lewis (2012), Kyle Chandler (2011), Bryan Cranston (2010)

Prediction: I would say that this one is a toss-up between Bryan Cranston and Jon Hamm, but it’s likely that Cranston will take home the trophy.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series

The Nominees: Connie Britton (Nashville), Claire Danes (Homeland), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel), Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men), Kerry Washington (Scandal), Robin Wright (House of Cards)

Past Winners: Claire Danes (2012), Julianna Margulies (2011), Kyra Sedgwick (2010)

Prediction: With so many nominees, this one is a bit hard to pick. My top three are probably Elisabeth Moss, Claire Danes, and Kerry Washington (in that order), but we’ll see who the trophy goes to.

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series

The Nominees: Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad), Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire), Jim Carter (Downton Abbey), Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Mandy Patinkin (Homeland), Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad)

Past Winners: Aaron Paul (2012, 2010), Peter Dinklage (2011)

Prediction: It’s likely that this award will go to Aaron Paul or Peter Dinklage again, but if someone was to upset either of them, it would probably be Patinkin.

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series

The Nominees: Morena Baccarin (Homeland), Christine Baranski (The Good Wife), Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad), Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Maggie Smith (Downton Abbey)

Past Winners: Maggie Smith (2012), Margo Martindale (2011), Archie Panjabi (2010)

Prediction: Maggie Smith is probably a lock for this award, but Anna Gunn is very deserving of it.
