Fans just can't get enough of Tom Hiddleston's Loki, as a petition started back in July shows.
The Change.org petition has garnered over 15,000 signatures thanks to the increased press after the media reported on it, according to Comicbook.com.
The website first reported it earlier in the week when it only had 10,000 signatures, but after entertainment websites started talking about it, the petition's signatures shot up to 15,000.
The petition states, "The character Loki, as portrayed by Tom Hiddleston in the films 'Thor,' 'Thor 2,' and 'The Avengers' (2012, has become one of the most recognizable and cherished film characters in recent years."
It goes on to say, "We respectfully yet strongly request Marvel put into action a full-length feature film production based on the Marvel character Loki portrayed by Tom Hiddleston."
Still despite the petition inching towards the 20,000 signature mark, even if Marvel went for it, it's unlikely the actor has time for it with his full slate. He recently joined the cast of Guillermo Del Toro's Crimson Peak. He's also currently shooting Muppets Most Wanted, which is due out next year.
For those clambering for more Loki, while he will not be appearing in The Avengers 2, he will be in the upcoming Thor: The Dark World Nov. 8.
