Four young victims were found shot to death Thursday in a parked car in Cumberland County, Tennessee. Authorities released their identities Friday and released that they were purposely killed and not victims of random violence.

They were killed on a side road in a secluded area of the Renegade Mountain development, which is a 3,000-acre resort community with 141 homes.

According to Associated Press, the victims were discovered by a resident of the neighborhood around 7 a.m. Thursday morning when he spotted the parked car on his way to work.

CNN reports that the four victims found were 16-year-old John Lajeunesse, 17-year-old Dominic Davis, 17-year-old Steven Presley, and a 22-year-old mother Rikki Jacobsen.

The neighborhood is usually a safe place to live, but allegedly residents of the community sued the owners in 2011 because they were worried about lack of security. The owners took away controlled access, which has caused a bit more crime in the neighborhood.

Authorities are investigating the motive of the shooting and do not believe any other members of the community are in danger.
