After making stuffed animals, clothing, backpacks, and more, Hello Kitty has added beer to its extensive brand.

The beer is brewed by a Taiwanese brewery, Long Quan, and will be sold in only in China. The beverages come in fruit flavors including passion fruit, banana, and peach. They’re packaged in brightly colored cans with images of Hello Kitty in fruit attire, according to Perez Hilton.

According to a reviewer on kotaku.com, “They're so ridiculously smooth and tasty that one can barely tell they're drinking beer. It's almost like drinking fruit juice, even if the cans do say ‘beer’… The fruit isn't a note or a sense in these beverages but instead the overpowering star of it all.”

Despite the pastel packaging and candy-like flavoring, the Hello Kitty beer representatives insist that they are not promoting underage drinking. They say that the target audience for the beer not minors but adults who grew up with Hello Kitty, which is a 40-year-old brand.
