While J.J. Abrams has been keeping everything regarding Star Wars VII under wraps, he did reveal he wants the new movie to "feel real."

News regarding the new Star Wars movies has been fairly scarce, but he answered a few questions from Entertainment Weekly. Abrams was willing to say that he is trying "really hard to make a movie that feels as emotional and authentic and exciting as possible."

"Whatever your favorite Star Wars movie is and how to compare it is really sort of subjective," he added.

According to The Atlantic Wire, the Star Trek director also said that he wants to make the movie "feel real."

"I remember reading a thing somewhere, someone wrote about just wanting [the new film] to feel real; to feel authentic. I remember I felt that way when I was 11 years old when I saw the first one. As much of a fairy tale as it was, it felt real. And to me, that is exactly right."

That's always good to hear after the huge CG-fests that the prequels turned into.

EW notes that while details are scarce, there have been consistent rumors that the original three cast members, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher) have been approached to appear in the movie.

So far the only concrete detail seems to be that J.J. Abrams is set to direct the new movie.
