Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are preparing to begin filming Dumb and Dumber To and seem to be relishing getting into their goofy characters.

Carrey showed off his infamous chipped tooth for The Ellen Degeneres Show, Hollywood Life reports.

The Liar, Liar actor said, "I just decided there's a moment in your life when you just gotta let your 'Lloyd' hang out." He added, "I have a bonding on it most of the time, and now I don't. I've decided to just live with it; it's fun. Because where I go, people laugh in my face and ask me to open beers for them and stuff. It's really kind of a blast."

After winning the Emmy for Best Actor on Sunday, Daniels talked to E! Online about the Dumb and Dumber sequel.

"We're going to party 'til dawn and then I'm going to get on a plane and go to Atlanta and start shooting Dumber and Dumber To," Daniels said.

"The intellectual free-fall from [Will] MacAvoy to Harry Dunn, imagine if you will."

The Newsroom actor also said, "There are some things that's we're going to do in Dumb and Dumber To that make the toilet scenes [in the original] seem lame. Pales in comparison... The best thing about it? I get to work with a comedic genius.

Dumb and Dumber was originally released back in 1994, so the sequel might be out in time for the 20th anniversary.
