Joseph Gordon-Levitt dished on his new film Don Jon, in which he wrote, stars and directs. The 32-year-old actor revealed his opinion of pornography in light of his characters porn addiction as well as gushing over his co-star Scarlett Johansson.

Gracing the cover of Men’s Health Magazine, Gordon-Levitt discussed his own views on pornography saying, “Porn's fine. I'm aware that it can be hateful toward women. It can be addictive. It can get ugly. But it's only damaging if you allow it to be,” he tells the magazine as quoted by E! News.
Leaving porn behind, Gordon-Levitt also expressed his desire to have Johansson play his girlfriend in the film.

"I didn't know Scarlett, but I spent more than a year with the image of her in my head playing this character," he explained of filling the character of Barbara. "She couldn't not do this."

“Look, Scarlett is a gorgeous, gorgeous woman, but if you just compare purely physical features, plenty of girls are just as gorgeous," he notes. "But she creates this extra something. It's in her walk, her eye contact. The total package is just off the charts."

Don Jon hits theaters September 27.
