Jurors in the Michael Jackson wrongful-death trial will resume deliberating on Friday.

According to CNN, the jury started deliberations on Thursday for two hours after three days of closing arguments.

Marvin Putnam of AEG Live is asking the jury to find Jackson at fault for his death, rather than the company.

"Plaintiffs want you to hold a concert promoter liable for Michael Jackson's overdose in his bedroom at night, behind locked doors," Putnam said. "An overdose of the drug administered to Mr. Jackson by his longtime doctor - Dr. Murray - who he'd been seeing for years."

Katherine Jackson's lawyer, Brian Parnish, said to the jury, "How dare they come up here and accept no responsibility and blame it all on Michael."

The Global Posts reports Parnish insisted AEG Live were attempting to "hoodwink" the jury.

"AEG Live is a money-making company," Parnish said. "They didn't want to help Michael do a comeback. They wanted Michael so they could make money, and that's why they did it."

Jackson's family is seeking $85 million for each of his three children, plus an estimated $1.6 billion for losses that Michael could have earned through his comeback tour.
