Actress Katherine Hiegl seems to have developed a reputation of being hard to work alongside, which may explain why she's returning to TV.
An insider has told The Hollywood Reporter, who has released a report, that the actress is difficult to worth with, and dealing with her mother, who is also her manager, is no picnic either.
"She can cost you time every single day of shooting," the source said. "Wardrobe issues, not getting out of the trailer, questioning the script every singly day. Even getting her deal closed at Warners was hard. She hit that point of 'no.'"
While most seem to not want to deal with the Knocked Up actress anymore, not everyone feels that way. Director Greg Berlanti said, "I would work with her again in a heartbeat," notes Starpulse.
Though THR report says a source who worked on the film 27 Dresses says that the movie went fine until overseas promotion time.
"There were movie-star demands - big rooms, the mother there, all the stuff," the source says. "'We need the presidential suite at The Bristol!' It was just a sense of entitlement."
As previously reported, Hiegl has been cast in a CIA drama pilot at NBC. Maybe she can begin to resuscitate her career there if it gets picked up.
