Katy Perry gave fans a treat on Monday morning by releasing another single off of her new album Prism at midnight. The song is called “Walking on Air” and serves as the second single off the new album – out Oct. 22 -- behind “Roar.”
Perry tweeted:
WAKE UP EAST COAST! Got the Monday blues? Let me help you dance them off with a NEW song, WALKING ON AIR: http://t.co/onVIBqTLzf

Rolling Stone notes Perry, 28, sings in the ‘90s-inspired song, "There's disco paradise, even heaven is jealous of our love / Yes, we make angels cry, raining down on earth from up above.”
She has previously described the song as a “universal love song,” telling MTV News. "It's a love song and it's different from 'Roar' — it's not eighth-notey. And I think it's a universal love song that everyone's going to be able to relate to no matter the age, no matter male or female. It's my favorite song off the record."
Perry has also given fans a teaser of another single called “Dark Horse.”
