Kelsey Grammer is said to be getting close to signing a deal to join the cast of The Expendables 3 alongside Sylvester Stallone Grammer’s addition comes after The Expendables alum Bruce Willis was released from the project following high demands.

Grammer is nearing a deal to join the star-studded cast where he will play Bonaparte, Deadline reports. Bonaparte is noted as an ex-mercenary who helps aide the Expendables.
Willis was cut from the film in August after demanding $1 million a day. The Die Hard actor was originally offered $3 million to film, but turned it down. He was fired shortly thereafter.

Willis’ actions were blasted by Stallone who called the demands ”greedy and lazy”.

Harrison Ford was later confirmed tojoin the cast as Max Drummer, a decision celebrated by Stallone, alongside Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Antonio Banderas, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Wesley Snipes.

The Expendables 3 is slated to hit theaters August 15, 2014.
