Uh oh! Could we have the start of another celebrity feud on our hands? This time Lorde is slamming fellow pop singer Selena Gomez for her single ‘Come and Get it.’

According to Perez Hilton the ‘Royals’ singer recently revealed in an interview that she disproves of Selena’s music.

She said, “I love pop music on a sonic level. But I’m a feminist and the theme of her song [Come and Get It] is, ‘When you’re ready come and get it from me.’ I’m sick of women being portrayed this way.”

Ouch! It seems like pop royalty don’t always get along with their peers.

Although Selena’s song might not necessarily encourage women to take a stand, Selena has revealed in the past that she’s a firm believer in girl power.

The 21-year-old told Canada’s E-Talk, “My girls are my everything, we aren’t afraid to be confident in who we are. If a gentleman can’t handle that, that’s not my problem.”

Even though Lorde had some choice words for Ms. Gomez, Selena seems to enjoy the 16-year-old New Zealander’s music. Mstarz reports that Gomez covered Lorde’s ‘Royals’ at the Winnipeg stop of her Stars Dance tour.
