The Transformers are heading back to the big screen in 2014 with the fourth film in the mega franchise from director Michael Bay and Paramount. The studio unveiled Transformers 4’s official title and the first poster.

On Facebook, Paramount linked to Yahoo! Movies, revealing the title - Age of Extinction. The poster shows the Transformers logo in a desert, with wind blowing sand to cover it. Below, it shows the film’s release date - June 27, 2014.

It’s suggested that the new title is a hint that Dinobots will be introduced. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura mentioned them in an interview with Beijing News this week.

“I can not disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the arrival of the Dinobots will give the audience a lot to be excited about,” he said, notes TFormers.com. “The world's coolest, most exciting cars will appear in the film, including Chinese vehicles, so whether you are a car enthusiast or not, it will be a feast for the eyes.”

The title comes after Paramount and Age of Extinction’s Chinese partners announced the four chinese actors who won roles through a reality show. The four actors were picked out of a pool of 70,000 contestants.

Age of Extinction will be the first Transformers film without Shia LaBeouf. The lead human hero will be played by Mark Wahlberg and Kelsey Grammer plays the villain.
