Miley Cyrus strips down in her new music video for "Wrecking Ball" off her upcoming Bangerz album.
The singer continues her outrageous antics by spending the music video half-naked and eventually naked, MTV reports. In addition to her, the video is fairly stripped down itself and seems almost restrained after her recent behavior.
In the video, the 20-year-old singer starts off by singing directly to the camera as a single tear rolls down her eye. The video then moves to a room where a wrecking ball is tearing down walls while Cyrus sings.
The singer alternates between the tiny outfit seen in the "Wrecking Ball" single cover and nothing as she rides the wrecking ball and suggestively licking a sledgehammer.
Billboard reports the video was directed by photographer Terry Richardson, which starts to explain the simplistic and nude aspects of the video.
The "We Can't Stop" singer has been following a pattern of controlled outrageous behavior. Controlled in that it's all clearly pre-planned, nothing like that of Amanda Bynes.
However, the behavior might be costing her. As previously reported, her Vogue cover was cancelled after the editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, watched her MTV VMA performance.
