Miley Cyrus has traded in her risqué MTV VMA concert for an equally lurid performance. In her new music video for her song Wrecking Ball, Miley is seen swinging around naked on a hanging canon ball and making out with a hammer.

The music video, which was directed by Terry Richardson, has a lot of people buzzing. The song sounds like it’s about the singer’s current relationship with actor Liam Hemsworth. With lyrics like, “ I came in like a wrecking ball, I never hit so hard in love. All I wanted was to break your walls. All you ever did was wreck me…” has a lot of rumors swirling about whether the couple has broken up or not. This past year there have been reports of their engagement being called off and Liam’s family not approving of the relationship.

Miley has had quite a busy year in the media. From racy photo shoots, twerking videos, and drastic style changes, she has given people a lot to talk about. She definitely made some mouths drop again with Wrecking Ball, being fully naked, shedding tears, and probably fulfilling every construction worker’s fantasy.

Media educator Nicole Clark told Fox News, “I just can't take her seriously as a singer or a performer in her seriously silly video. It's almost Zoolander because it seems she thinks she's being artistic and serious but her attempt is transparent and laughable. At one point she rubs her nose on the chain and looks absurd.”

Are you over Miley Cyrus’ crazy antics? Is the singer trying too hard to prove to everyone that she’s “all grown up”?
