In Northampton, England a clown has been seen walking the streets at night.
"He doesn't juggle. He doesn't twist balloons into animal shapes. He just stares," says the Northampton Herald & Post according to E! Online.
The clown wrote in a Facebook post that, "I don't terrorise people. I just want to be spotted."
The clown first appeared on Friday the 13th and has shown up around the English town every night since.
His appearances have started the hashtags #northamptonclown and #clownwatch to track him every night.
The Telegraph reports that in an interview the Northampton Clown said, "I just wanted to amuse people. Most people enjoy being a bit freaked out and then they can laugh about it afterwards."
He added, "Naturally, some people would have been extremely frightened by what they saw, but I hope many are starting to see it as a bit of harmless fun."
The Clown, who wishes to remain anonymous, set up a Facebook page, which has already garnered 125,000 'likes.' He's not sure how long he'll remain anonymous as people have started to figure out where the Clown lives.
