Sir Patrick Stewart has married singer Sunny Ozell, while his friend and actor Ian McKellen officiated the wedding.

According to USA Today the Star Trek actor tweeted the phrase, "Yes, married," along with a picture of him and his new wife in a ball pit.

The Lord of the Rings actor posted a picture of himself wearing a shirt saying "Minister" and holding a certificate that says Doctor of Divinity on Facebook. He wrote, "I did my part."

EntertainmentWise reports that this is the 75-year-old actors third marriage. Stewart and the 35-year-old Ozell have been together for about five years.

The couple met while Stewart was performing the play Macbeth at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music.

It was announced back in March that Stewart was getting married to his girlfriend of five years and that his X-Men adversary was going to be officiating.

EW notes that it was McKellen who spilled the beans saying, "I'm going to marry Patrick," before adding, "How else do you put that? I'm going to officiate at his wedding."
